School work: App design and build
From the project documentation:
GoalsHelp people learn how to relax when having an acute anxiety or panic attack by giving them a simple tool for pacing their breathing and awareness of their bodies/posture.
Success means eventually individuals use the app less often.
Target audience
Millennials are arguably the most openly anxious generation, as well as being the biggest users of smartphone and tablet apps at around 130 hours/month. This group is easily distracted by inferior design quality and has a very diverse spiritual background, so an app for them needs to be polished and theologically open-ended.
Organization
The app is a single page, with JavaScript loading and unloading screens based on icon presses. The background radial gradient moves in 4/4 time, with eight counts expanding and eight counts contracting, continuously upon loading. The three icons at the bottom are always visible, with the current selection highlighted and the rest at 50% opacity.

MORE SCREENS YEAH
I was reading about icon design...plainly not enough.
My instructor thought the design overall looked too Android-y, so when it came time to build it, I made some changes.
We were learning about tools like PhoneGap, so I made the app as a webpage with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I'm giving you the big desktop view because why not.

This was the most relaxing project I made in school. I kept just sitting and looking at it. I did some of that while uploading this project, too.
Some things never worked. I wanted the fill and empty bars to use animated SVGs, for example, and while I got close it just never quite worked. But for what it is, I quite like it.
